Meet Jenn
Jenn C. Henderson is a Little Rock based criminal defense attorney and a fierce defender of the Constitution. Jenn believes that people are fundamentally good, even at their lowest points, and she approaches her practice with this in mind. Before joining ARLaw Partners, she worked at a high-volume criminal defense firm, where she represented hundreds of adults and children throughout Arkansas facing criminal and delinquency charges.
Jenn believes the key to successful representation is actually getting to know her clients, not just their cases. Connecting with a client and their family allows her to properly tell their story; she believes that in a system designed to turn people into numbers, it is her job to paint the shades of a person’s humanity onto their case for prosecutors, judges, and juries to see. But don’t confuse her compassion with weakness; she should not be underestimated.
Jenn is a perpetual student of the United States Constitution and maintains an aggressive pretrial (and posttrial) motions practice to put her clients in the best strategic and legal position possible. She reads local law enforcement policy manuals for fun, but it’s all business in court; she demands accountability from police officers in pretrial hearings when they violate her clients’ rights and their own policies. She has been through all stages of the criminal process with clients, from juvenile intake interviews to capital murder jury trials. Her wins in court include (but are not limited to) acquittals, speedy trial dismissals, suppression of evidence, and juvenile transfers. Her favorite part of the job is getting people out of jail (and she’s really good at that).
Jenn attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a degree in criminology in 2018. She worked as a paralegal in Jackson, Mississippi, before moving to Little Rock to attend Bowen School of Law, graduating in 2024. During law school, she worked with the Federal Public Defender’s Office, Pulaski County Public Defender’s Office, and several prominent local criminal-defense firms.
When she’s not reading the LRPD policy manual, Jenn likes to go backpacking, play guitar, and look for cool birds in the sky.
